Italian Style Salsa Verde

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Start to Finish Time: 7 minutes

    • 1/2 tablespoon finely chopped, fresh hot peppers

    • 1 tablespoon finely chopped, red onion

    • 4 Allessia anchovy fillets, finely chopped

    • 1 tablespoon Aurora capers, finely chopped

    • 1 big handful fresh flat leaf parsley, finely chopped

    • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

    • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

    • 2 cloves garlic, minced

    • 1/2 cup Basso Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    • Aurora Kosher salt

    • fresh ground black pepper

    Serving Ideas: Add more oil if used as a dip or marinade... less oil if used a topping or condiment.

  • Add all the ingredients into a medium bowl, then slowly stir in the olive oil until you achieve the desired consistency.

    Balance the flavours with a touch of salt, black pepper and maybe a little more lemon juice.

    Yield: 3/4 cup
